boat detail few questions

ive been detailing autos and bikes for 3+ years and ive always turned down boats. a close friend and dealer i know was talking about my detailing skills to a customer and some how i got "volunteered" to detail a 34ft boat. i am going to help my friend out and do it but all i need to know is what to expect and what chemicals i should use/ buy. thanks

34 huh? Try doing 60 and 70 footers, they are a pain in the arse. For starters, #1 Learn to use a rotary #2 For most polishing, use 3m finesse it 2 then follow up with collinite or a similar heavy duty paste wax #3 Be prepared to work your A$$ off and have food, water, and gatorade in a cooler near you.

i have a rotary my man concern is what i should use to clean it before polishing. also i might be mistaken about the length the photo i saw of the boat is about 2x that of the 30ft one you did i was told it has 6 bdrms

use a car wash soap and make sure its super clean before the buffer also are you going to be doiong this is the water if so you may want to find products that are easy to remvoe once they get wet
