Well here are a few of this past weekends details. All fairly straight forward...

Up first was the BMW X5, This client has the Porsche in the next post and he lets me go off and do whatever is neccessary to keep the vehicles clean and looking top notch, which is quite nice for a change! Anyhow, I was detailing a few months back and I had a rep from Presta start talking to me about products...blah..blah...blah and he gave me a free 16oz sample of "Best Wax" so i figured I try it out on this one. I also did the inside, but the owner needed to go run errands so I didn't get pics of it after.

Procedure:
Wash w/NXT
Presta Best Wax
Megs Super degreaser 10:1 on wheel wells
APC 10:1 on wheels
Hi-temp tire cleaner 2:1
TOL Grape tire dressing
Poorboys wheel sealant
NXT glass cleaner
Oxy solution for carpets
Woolite/water 10:1 for seats
Megs leather conditioner

Next was the Porsche 911. I did a full detail ( clay, PP , EX-P x 2, Wheel sealant x 2) on this last time; however he took it up to Northern Arizona and it was a bug cemetary. Other than that it was not bad at all so I take any befores except for the wheels.

Procedure:
Wash w/ NXT
A coat of Natty's
Hi-Temp tire cleaner 2:1
TOL Grape Tire Dressing
Poorboy's wheel sealant (check out the reflection!)
NXT Glass Cleaner
Mothers polish on exhaust tips

And finally the Mercedes E55 AMG, the supercharger on this thing whines like crazy when you start it up (music to my ears!). This car is a treat to work on, as is the Porsche. Once again no befores because it was not terribly dirty because this is a weekly car for me. This is just a wash on the exterior nothing fantastic, but it looked so damn good I had to share!

Procedure:
Wash w/ NXT
TOL Grape Tire Dressing
PoorBoy's Wheel Sealant
NXT Glass Cleaner
Poorboy's Pro Polish on all chrome
Mother Polish on exhaust tips

Andrew, Yep that's the same guy! They also have another black Mercedes convertible that is his wifes, but she rarely drives it (there is less than 400 miles on the odometer!) So he has 5 cars at the house, and 2 big fishing boats in Cabo. Definately living it up!!

Thanks Dean! :paper

It works very well, once cleaned the tire has a natural satin look to it. I use TOL Grape dressing 99% of the time which is from the same company so they work well together. I just started using it so I haven't tested it's ability on other dressings.

It's pretty straight forward spray on the tire and let it sit for a few minutes and then rinse for tires that aren't that dirty (The only problem I have with this method is that the tire is dry in less than a minute with the Arizona heat.). Repeat and scrub for dirty tires.

Do they really strip the tires safely? Reason why is I always have trouble properly cleaning tires. Eagle One A2z just seems to much and I'd like something to start bare but safely :D

Like I said I just started using it, however it does have the capability to be diluted to fit your needs. I don't think it was to much for the job because I diluted it 2:1 (I could have diluted it 4:1 and achieved the same results because the tires I worked with were not terrible). IMO the product is great and it cleans the tire bare so you can start from scratch (Just like claying before polishing, it's all in the preparation). It works great on whitewalls and white lettering too. I used to use comit on my tires... :eek and it worked ok but I was unsatisfied with it's results. BTW as far as safety is concerned it is VOC compliant and on a scale of 0-4, 4 being the least safe it is rated a 1 (moderate).

I will get some pics of the procedure I use on the tires on the next car I do and post them.
