BMW X5 4.6is Correction

New client sought me out to have a "New to him" X5 restored, the vehicle had quite a bit of "Patina" due to improper maintenance over the years and my client is restoring the car as time and budget allows.

The front and rear bumpers were re-sprayed badly so not much could be done but those will be painted by a body shop I utilize known for getting it right.

Headlights were crusty and needed some time to be brought back to a better cosmetic condition.

One area that was in bad shape was the "B" and "C" pillars on both sides with U.V. damage and I suspect a strong APC of some kind used to clean the vehicle in the past.

In addition to the B/C pillar damage the roofrails were dry and chalky as well.

Beautiful job, Bob!

I see a lot of Bimmers here and it never fails to amaze me how people can ignore keeping such a nice vehicle clean and shiny.

Estoril Blue is a really nice color when new and you have made this one look better than new - Client had to be stunned, right ?

Can you please share what you used on the roof rails?

Thanks for sharing - always incredibly detailed, perfect work !!!
