2004 Porsche Carrera, aka 997. He has me detail this car every single month, he figures he drops that kind of money on a car, he wants it properly maintained.

Interior was cleaned with water/Woolite mix, really goes quick with monthly cleanings! Vinyl dressed with Meguiars Interior QD and leather with Leather Master's Leather Vitol.

I hit it with Prime/AJ in December and have been adding 2 more layers each time I detail it again. Still no need to polish it out and I'll just keep layering until the paint needs additional attention. Does the car really have 7 layers of AJ? I do know it has 7 applications but no way to measure exactly what type of film build of AJ there actually is. I guess I'll leave that question to the philosophizers.

I got some good full sun shots this time.

2004 Honda Odyssey. My brother's van, hopefully this exterior detail means he will pay me back with updating my website.

Last done in December 2004 with AIO and ZFX'ed Zaino Z2 Pro x 3. Looked really good, beaded for about 8-9 months if I remember right. Went with JW's Prime using a blue Propel pad and topped with a single application of Acrylic Jett. Seems wetter than how Z2 Pro looked but since the lighting was different between the two details, it is hard to say for sure (pics of the Zaino detail are on my website's gallery, the lighting wasn't great-really didn't how good it looked). Regardless, my brother was very happy. It will be interesting to see how well it holds up compared to Z2. I'll probably add another layer of AJ next week since my brother is having some pictures done for his computer business website and will be including his van, so Zaino will still have a one layer advantage-honestly, probably insignificant. The van will get the same care, tunnel wash 1-2 times a month.

Just this one shot, finished the roll with this one. I'll have more the next time.

2002 BMW X5. Regular weekly wash customer but it hadn't been waxed since last May. It never sits still long enough for more than a wash. Paint still had a nice shine but had some minor defects/swirls. Used Optimum Polish with a white LC polishing pad, removed with Optimum Car Wax and topped with Poorboy's EX w/carnauba (same wax I used last time).

2000 BMW 750iL. Yes, the V12. :)

I detail this car about twice a year. Interior was better than the last few times, one of their older dogs has since died so less dog hair inside. I was going to get some interior shots but she needed to leave before I could take them.

Exterior was pretty good, polished it with Menzerna 106FF and a white LC polishing pad, removed with OCW and topped with Poorboy's Natty's Blue. Really happy with that combo on this color, came out incredibly wet!

Please just keep on posting pictures of the Porsche :)

That car is B-E-A-utiful!

All of the others look excellent as well. Who says you can't pimp in a minivan?? :xyxthumbs

2005 Range Rover. Same owner as the 750, see it just as often. Last two times, I just did the exterior but this time the interior needed some cleaning. Wasn't too bad though.

Interior was cleaned with water/Woolite mix, really goes quick with monthly cleanings! Vinyl dressed with Meguiars Interior QD and leather with Leather Master's Leather Vitol.

Took this with flash to show that even with harsh lighting, Meguiars Interior QD has no shine to speak of.

Exterior got Prime using a blue Propel finishing pad and sat on the Rover for about 4.5 hours while I detailed the 750 (she was running errands in the morning, got back around 1 PM and told me she needed the 750 done by 6 PM) and even sitting that long, it wiped off effortlessly. I then sealed with an application of AJ. Pretty close to dusk when I finished, so the pics aren't great.

Scott great work as always. Quick question on the X5 as I'm still getting to know my rotary. Optimum polish with the white pad on your rotary was your final (and only) polishing step before your LSP? Do you start at a higher speed (1400ish) then finish a little slower (around 900 or so)? Any information is appreciated thanks.

As always! :bigups

The porsche must be super-slick.

How is prime and AJ when applied in the sun? I would think the prime would be ok, but not sure about AJ.

With just a single coat of AJ after prime on the wifes 740, micro-beads of water where flying off the hood on the way to the airport today. I have never seen water bead that small.

AJ dries too fast in the sun. You'd have to work small areas and quickly if the paint is more than warm.

Yes, the Porsche is very slick. In person, the depth also shows very nicely. :)

Scott is lucky enough to have clients that don't need MAJOR swirl correction anymore. PC should do him just fine.

Great work Scott.

Wow that Porsche 997 its hawt. Did you dip into the pool after long day of detailing :chuckle:
