Hello everyone.

First up, G35.

The owner is a returning customer who wanted a wash and seal. Also, there were some scratches on his rear bumper that he wanted to be buffed off.

maybe its my monitor or your camera, but the bmw still looks kinda greyish.

Looked pretty @#$% black to me. Get your monitor checked. Or maybe you are looking at the sky in the reflection.

Loved the black emblems.

^^ camera was in night mode so it'll look grey.

John, how long does it usually take you to do those 335's when you're using SIP for your first step? Do you still clay the car or you just wash and go straight to polishing?

takes me about the same. For some reason, it takes me longer to clay an alpine white. I just spent around 2 hours today claying a RX400H, it was white so i was able to see all of the contaminants.

Good stuff. I should go to so cal before school starts :D.

I know first hand that the new 335's in black have extremely soft and finicky paint. I did a customers car and could not get it to finish off hologram fee with the 106ff. I had to follow behind with FPII.

The paint seems to scratch very easily on solid black. I have not polished any other colors, so I don't know if this is the case other than just black.

yes, you are right. the bmw jet black paint is the softest paint ever! but on the other hand, bmw's black sapphire is easy to work with and is not as soft as their jet black
