Blower resistor card out

On her 12 escape. Settings 1-2 no workey. Found out its a very common issue. Very easy to replace. About $20. She is going to see if its under the 3/36 first. (Second owner). If not i will replace it.

they burn out in our mack trucks all the time. resistor to step the motor down for lower speeds. Pain n the butt is usually getting to it in the dash.

Easy and cheap depending where it is. I had to use a flexible shaft screwdriver.

Mine went in the winter. I had to drive with the heat blasting and the windows open. Prefered that over freezing.

Did this saturday. EZPZ. $20 at napa. Drop the glovebox. 2 8mm screws. Done.
