Blitz Clean n' Wax

Typos make you sound less than intelligent. In forums like this it is not a big deal at all. If I knew nothing about Zaino and looked at the website I would probably think it is some guy trying to make a fast buck claiming his product his high tech and his website is professional even though he proved us wrong on the latter.

Spelling is the least of Sal's problems! Granted some of his products are very good, but attitude goes a long way as well. Does Nordstrom's ring a bell. Customer service is key.

I just wanted to get this thread back up to the front of the line, in case Sal comes to this forum.

You guys can be so critical. It's obvious that Sal spends more time on product development and customer care than he does web site development. Don't kill a guy because his marketing department went on vacation.

A few weeks back I wanted to get in touch with the head of marketing at Meguiars. The first email I sent to customer service took 72+ hours to get back to me. After I finally got the name and email I wanted, it took the guy two weeks to answer my email. Guess what? They have fancy, mega buck marketing and a slick web site. Their responsiveness SUCKS!

On the other hand, have you ever sent an email to Sal Zaino or Terry Freiberg? Chances are you got a response withing 24 hours. Reasonable service.

Response time is key, but so is technical knowledge. When I sent an email to ZYMOL asking about some of the things claimed on their website, I got a page in a half of carnuba B.S. Very dissappointing.....

DETAILKING

They have the kits put together but I guess they aren't taking orders yet. Yes? I want one of each. :D I can't wait to hear some reviews on this stuff. I used Klasse and Pinnacle in 2001 and I want to try either Blackfire or Zaino in 2002 so I have a good base of comparison. I can't wait till I can order some!!

I just thought I would post on behalf of Sal Zainos defense. I've only used Leather In a Bottle from the Zaino product line but called him the first time before I bought it since he posts a phone#. I got him the first call and he answered all my questions and never made me feel I was taking up his time. That's customer care. Some manufacturers won't even respond to an e-mail, let alone talk on the phone!

Yeah, from what I hear, Sal is one helluva guy. I can personally say that Terry is awesome too. Reurns e-mails instantly making sure to fully explain without forcing anything on you. I cant wait to try Blackfire (even if the name is kinda cartoonish), results look very promising, that Zaino bright wet shine with the deepness of a wax. Also cant wait to try Autoints ABC system, (DK et all, when i get it i might be able to give you some samples to try)

If spelling is not such an issue, let's hope when he writes down your address he sends your order to the wrong place. Proper business communication and good service is the key, not how nice a guy is. Maybe I am just lost in la-la land. :)

For all of you concerned about spelling, and typos: There is a free trial download for a great helper. www.asutype.com . With every word you type, a correction is made when you press the spacebar to go to the next word. Works great.

Unfortunately, much of the business world is based on the numbers, not how nice someone is. :(

Yea, I mean if I was buying something expensive, like jewelry, I would much rather buy from a big trusted company with a nice site and no spelling errors, than some unknown small company that might be own by your next door neighbor’s kid.

But then of course, this is just a car product, but an uneducated buyer’s first opinion is quite important.

My 2 cents...

Sounds like it might be marketed as a KLASSE replacement then....wonder if CMA will even carry KLASSE anymore if BLACKFIRE turns out to be a hot seller....

I agree with S.L. ----> I won't be trying anything till spring once Mid november comes.

I doubt Klasse will be replaced, at least not until a few years down the road at best. Klasse has too much of a user base and has worked for years

I asked on Monday when it would be availible and this was the response I got...

<em class='bbc'>Hi Anthony,
We are waiting for the labels to be printed. It's probably going to be another 10 to 14 days. As soon as everything is in stock, we'll turn the order buttons on.

So I guess thats it. We just have to wait. I can't wait for it to come out. I want to be one of the first to review it. A digital camera is in my future and it's main use will be to document before and after stuff. If it is even half as good as Klasse then it will still replace most of the stuff I used before.

A Summary:

My 2 cents: each poster was right re Sal -- he is absolutely, incredibly responsive. Heck, he is EAGER to CALL you, on his dime, to discuss any problems you have. Unhear of. And, yes, his site sucks big time, the usage instructions are disjointed and the layout is illogical. The irony is, it could be cleaned up in eight hours, max. And, at the same time, his sincerity and customer care is the best I have experienced in my life . . . in my entire life.

Yes, Sal's got amazing customer service.
