BLACKFIRE PolyClay Bar
BLACKFIRE PolyClay is a premium synthetic detailing clay that removes bonded contamination from paint, restoring gloss and a smooth finish, with out scratching or dulling the paint's surface. It is the first true step in creating an award winning shine that snaps heads around in admiration. BLACKFIRE PolyClay Bar removes what day to day driving puts into your vehicle’s paint.
Instructions
First inspect your paint by feeling the surface. Use your bare hand or for more sensitivity, place your hand inside a plastic baggy. The paint should feel smooth to the touch. If you feel grit, grain, or a pebble-like texture you need BLACKFIRE Poly Clay.
BLACKFIRE Poly Clay is a huge 200 gram bar. It can be cut in half or quarters for more usage.
Flatten BLACKFIRE Poly Clay into a patty. To hold the clay let it rest where your fingers meet your hand.
Clay a section at a time. Spray an ample amount of BLACKFIRE Clay Lubricant on to the surface.
Hold the clay as described above and gently pass it over the paint's surface. As you work across the section of the paint you can actually feel the paint become smoother. Continue until the paint feels as smooth as glass.
Dry the section with a Cobra microfiber buffing towel.
Before claying the next area inspect the clay by looking at it. The contamination removed will become imbedded into the surface of the clay. If it still looks fresh continue to the next section. If the clay looks discolored or contamination is noticeable, fold the face of the clay against itself to expose a clean section. Press into a patty and continue to the next section.
Alternatively you can use BLACKFIRE Clay Cleaner & Extender prior to folding the clay in half to remove the contamination and extend the usable life of the clay.
Continue claying until the entire vehicle feels smooth to the touch.
Over time, particularly if you are not cleaning the clay, it will loose its effectiveness or become so soiled that you risk scratching the paint. Discard the clay at this time and use another piece. If you drop the clay on the ground discard as well.
To store your clay after use mist with with BLACKFIRE Clay Lubricant and place back in the BLACKFIRE Poly Clay Container. Snap shut.
