Blackfire foam booster

I think it`s an interesting product. Seems like it`s only needed to add for products that you like but maybe don`t produce much foam when used in a foam gun. It`s not likely something I would buy but I`d be curious to read reviews from others who try it.

BLACKFIRE`s own soap (Midnight Sun Conditioning Shampoo) foams up very well in my foam cannons and gun. Optimum Car Wash foams better but is much more difficult to rinse off. BLACKFIRE`s soap has (or had?) drying agents in it that made rinsing it off a breeze.

It does work tho. Made even Rupes M101 foam even though it is designed not to foam. For those that like suds this would be something to try. Review coming soon.

I was given the chance to evaluate a beta version of the foam booster back in April - and let me be the first to confirm, this stuff really does boost any soap foaming abilities!

Check out this cling:

What struck me is this booster will be great for winter washes when pre-soaking using my foam cannon. Given we can`t have TFR`s stateside - I love the idea of adding this to a citrus-based soap (ie CG Wash & Gloss) to help boost the soap`s cling time and break down traffic film/ road salt during winter months. Such a combo could be a real home run for us Northern`s.

I`m looking forward to trying out the official version

Don`t have a foam cannon anymore. To cumbersome and makes a mess lol. But it worked pretty good in a foam gun. Those water restrictions we had/have made me change over to rinseless with the occasional bucket wash.

Outside of winter time I rarely use my foam cannon. My DD just doesn`t get dirty enough to need a presoak/ prefoam.

If one wants more foam, you just increase how much soap you use plus it will clean a little better.

Also, using hot water and a fresh or clean filter in the foamer will create better foam.

I have the new MTM Hydro PF22 foam cannon and have used it about 20 times, and already the foam has become wetter, which means the soap runs off the vehicle faster. I need to replace its filter.

Let us know :)

Every since I coated my car with McKees coating products whatever product I use it rolls off the paint...

Same here! Hydro blue maintained with the Extender spray wax. Dilution ratios are a bit confusing on this product. 2-2.5 oz in one gallon of undiluted car wash soap. Or .5 to 1 oz in a 32 oz foam gun with diluted soap. I am tempted to dump the 2-2.5 oz in my gallon of slightly used hyperwash and mix it. But I am just goimg to try it out in the foam gun first. I expect a foam party!!

I have a bottle of the Foam Booster coming too! I will be trying it with Purple Powers` Heavy Duty Vehicle and Boat Pressure Wash Concentrate; I like the soap for foaming because it does a really good job at breaking down contamination/build up, it`s SUPER cheap, but it just doesn`t foam well:mellow:

I noticed the same thing with my wife`s CQuartz-coated Escape. Foam won`t cling to it, so I just do a pre-rinse instead of foaming it up.
