Blackfire, but which wax?

A while back I ordered the Blackfire Midnight Sun Ivory Carnauba Paste Wax kit, I used it and loved the results, Its definitly the easiest paste wax I have ever used and its very slick and wet looking. I love it.

So whats this Blackfire Wet Diamond stuff? How does it compare to what I have already? How does it look compared to the Carnauba Wax from BF.

I know User Name speaks pretty highly of it.;)
 
Its a polymer sealant that you can use first, and then wax over but not wax and seal over the wax.

Make all the necessary preparations in the finish first "buffing paint correction"
Then apply the BFWD after that,and see what we are all talking about. If this don't knock your socks off alone than cover with your favorite wax. Yes you can then add the wax after removing the sealant. You will have a great base product and some added pop with the wax with even more protection.

If you are going to try the BFWD and don't need to correct the paint just wash with dawn first. This will remove all the old wax so the BFWD will bond directly with the painted surface.

Yeah it is just a sealant not a wax. I do like WD but I think I like my midnight sun more :D this could be because the only car I have used it on was white and I did no correction work to it only wash and clay but after the first coat I was expecting a slicker surface and a more wet look. The Midnight sun did make it look great though when topped with it.

I wont make my full opinion on it until I can do my black car again polish it out and give it some WD and midnight sun. It is a great product to use though and I do like it alot!
 
Usually I finish off a lot of my details with two thin coats of M20, M21 or M26. I have used Blackfire as an LSP on a few cars though.

I have not tried Wet Diamond...yet. A while back I detailed a Jeep Patriot, cleaned/polished the paint with M205 and then used Blackfire Ivory Carnauba Paste Wax, it looked and felt great. And that was the first time I used it.

What I meant to say was that I generally use M20,M21,or M26 for vechiles that I detail as an LSP.

If I do end up getting some BF Wet Diamond I can probably put the Ivory Carnauba Paste Wax on top of it.
 
It will surprise you as a stand alone product for sure. I also have covered the BFWD with carnauba and the POP was wonderful. I has my vote as my go to sealant as of now.
