I do think there should not be just one or two big prizes but spread the reward around. I think you may find rewarding more people rather than less may lead to people hanging around more after the contest since they may feel more allegiance rather than just dropping off until some new contest.

For example, if you took the same products and gave just one out each month with similar rules this could encourage long term participation. The contest would last a lot longer and make more people happy rather than a one or two very very very happy with probably more product than they probably will practically use.

I agree Bunky even if it were only a sample a month would be a nice gift. Most are going to be here anyway and just a little thank you goes a long way.
