OctaneGuy was warned about promoting his product several times before he was finally banned. Is there some reason he shouldn't have to play by the same rules as other vendors and manufacturers?
What is commercial solicitation/spamming?
If you post We/our/my company has... you are spamming!

If you post We/our/my customers'... you are spamming!

If you are a "product seller" our rules do not allow you to use the site to "sell" your product. If your unaffiliated customers want to talk about your product, business practice or services, they are welcome to do so, however, as a vendor with a sales intent, you are not.
Oh, Alan W, how did that BW group buy you arranged over on Detailing World work out for you? No profit at all for you in that? Did it out of the goodness of your heart, did you? Not even a few free bottles for yourself? Very generous of you, I must say.
And skite, you might just lose your wager over on SCD . . . ShowCarDetailing - View Single Post - I got banned...

P.S. If you can find another car care forum that allows such open discussion on products that aren't sponsored, please, go there. We make every effort to squash spam, shills, and commercial postings, yet at the same time try to allow discussion on all product lines, as long as the posters involved are truly consumers, and not paid for their efforts.
