hi guys,



first time poster long time lurker/reader. I was home kinda bored this weekend and decided to give my mom's car a once over. Needless to say, i hate mercedes paint-have read all the horror stories of how hard it is.



It was a pain, got maybe 85-90% correction. i should have taken before pics, it as pretty bad, it cleaned up nicely though.

basics:

  • SIP w/orange pad
  • 106ff w/white pad
  • FPII w/black pad
  • Wolfgang Sealant 3.0

Wunderbar! Black is the most regal color on a Benz, but I'm glad I have a white one. The paint is just as hard (maybe harder) but hides defects like no other!! Nice work. I bet it was a real battle.
