Black Scion TC + 23yr old college girl = DISASTER! (Lots of pics!)

Just for the record Meg's QD clay (I'm guessing the mild stuff) does not mar my Flint Mica tC either with Meg's QD as a lube or just a solution with car shampoo. Next time I clay (which probably won't be for a while, it just isn't too necessary for me), I'll be using ONR at clay lube strength. I'll probably be needing new clay, though..

If you don't mind me asking, how did you apply the tire dressing? I always have a very hard time getting an even coat that covers the whole surface of the tire (I use Meg's High Endurance gel). Those tires have so many of those little "ribs" that it is very difficult for me...

Thanks again guys.... Im off to play with a Lincoln today. That and call my friend to get some pics. :)

Paul... this girl is really into shiney stuff (what girl isnt, right?) so I used my Hot Shine trigger spray for this one. Honestly Im trying to use up the rest of it because I dont really like liquid spray tire shine, I was in a pinch for tire shine and bought this bottle. I also used it for the wheel wells after cleaning the wells with Megs APC+. Turned out nice.

Ask and you shall receive.... :2thumbs:

Is it wrong that my eyes caught the two cars in the background? :aww:

I did the same thing LOL...then I saw the girl. If she wants to venture to Buffalo I will wash her car for her ;) Also, going to Canada (Toronto and Clifton hill by the border) I find it seems the girls in canada, on avg, are hotter than the US variety. Random Observation

LOL! The red one in the backround is my SS and the blue GT is my buddies. I park my SS in my buddies driveway when I detail at my house. Ive detailed both of them. :woot2:

Ive been to Canada once... and Ill admit my neck hurt when I left.

TC looks great, as do the cars in the background. First thing my eyes shot to was the Anniversary SS/Sonic Blue GT.

She's cute too, looks like a pretty nice college duplex neighborhood. Too bad my neighbors were too cheap and though I was nuts for washing my car twice a week.

35th le or any body else whose detailed a scion tc. My friend has one and want me to detail it when I get my business started his main issues is his seats seem to have like sweat stains or just like spots on them did you see this problem because of the fabric of the seats if so how did you take care of it. Do you recommend not to use a clay bar because of the marring.

Great work and nice job on the photo shoot with the girl. My fiance's car looked like that before we were engaged. Now I take care of her car as if its my own... oh actually it is my car since I got it for her.

Even if it does remove and at the same time slightly fill minor swirls then thats ok with me. Reason being that even if I was to produce a non-filled swirl free surface you can bet that the first time your customer washes their car they will induce swirls one way or another. Therefore... I guess it doesnt really matter if the ones Im working with are slightly filled and/or completely removed.

Dont get me wrong.. I do want to remove them completely.. and your question has enticed me to go ahead and try a 50/50 wipedown next time I play with #80. Which just might be tomorrow on a Lincoln Mark VIII. :waxing:

I totally agree and understand with what you are saying here. I also feel that to remove all of the swirls is sometimes not worth it because it will end up right back to the condition it was before you started.

I think the tC is a perfect example of a vehicle that benefits greatly from a product with fillers. I know I am not going to fully polish my g/f's often but it stays in good shape because we are very careful when we wash it.

I'm curious to what you found after the wipedown. Although regardless of that you did an excellent job with that tC :bigups

Oh and BTW I didn't see the rest of the pictures yet. It looks like they've blocked that site from work

It seems you would end up on permanent disability if you would venture down to Los Angeles.

The head movement in Manhattan in springtime resembles a seizure. The cars caught my eye too!

Nice car and cute owner. Damn, wish I was back in my twenty's! Oh well, I've got to buy a car for my daughter in a few years and being a Toyota guy, that little tC made the list. Of course I'd rather her drive a Bradley APC, but that's just being a little too protective!

hey how come you used the wax instead of the sealant on this one? I'm still trying to figure out which product to use on cars. #21 or #26. Do you use it whenever you feel like it?
