Black or Chrome Rims?

For ease of maintenance as well as looks...which is a better rim to go with? Are chrome rims that hard to maintain? My car exhales brake dust so I am leaning towards black because hosing down the rims at the end of the day is not so practical. Thanks guys...this forum is bad ace!

To be honest both are going to have time put into them. I have both, black wheels for my LSX and chrome on the Cobra. Both are equally PITA. But both are rewarding in keeping them clean. Both wheels give hand cramps when doing maintance so its done to what you like.

Black shows EVERYTHING! I would go with the chrome as they're just easier to maintain and very durable. Monte is right though, they're both going to take some work to keep up.

Erm....just my two-penny worth, but if you generate alot of brake dust surely black would make it easier to hide ? Plus, black would be easier to touch-in should you get any stone-chips.

What color car do you have ? Got any pics as it'll be easier to give opinions ?

I have some black cragar rims for my offroad rims and they seem to be fairly easy to clean up/polish. They are also easy to touch up like Kriminal said.. Mine already have some rock rash..
