Black Lexus IS350 Zaino Z5pro 56k good luck

Nice job B! How did you like using the Stylez Compound (EC/OP) via PC? I use it via rotary pretty often, but havent even thought to try by PC.

Thanks again Guys!

GT, MCME is Mr clean magic eraser.

Wade, That was the first time I used it via PC and it seemed to work fine for this soft clear. Finished up pretty nice too.

Nice job. I test drove one of those a couple of months ago. I ended up getting the ES350 (darn wife ;-).

Bryan, I don't look at many click&brag posts several times, this one is an exception. Wow! Inside and out you nailed it.

Great job!

Thanks Justin!

Do you have the black as well? I was reading this thread and it mentions how some think the clear is tinted.

During polishing with EC/OP I was getting what I thought was bonded contaminants on the pads. I was changing/cleaning pads every other panel. Then when I went to ZPC I was still getting a little bit of staining on the pads.

I agree about the interior, it needs alot of TLC.

Again a fun car to drive. :D

Bryan did you ditch the pads after you worked on this car?

Only reason that I ask is that I will be doing the same to my car (first time with my Lexus, had a BMW before and this wasn't the case)... I have been reading a lot about the Lexus SS paint... I am wondering though, since I have a Black Sapphire paint (metallic) if this is the case also and what it will do to my Edge pads.

Ryan, I always spray my pads with APC 1:6 or 1:10 when I am done. Then I put them in a bucket of water. When I get to them that day or the next, I just rinse them out in the sink with warm water. That took care of the tinting from the clear/paint.

Thanks Bryan, I have seen those threads on ClubLexus before, and there is a lot of information on here too.

Thanks for the cleaning tips on the pads. I will have to take that approach. I was more concerned about that and was just going to order more pads, but will try this first.

Thanks again.

Bryan: Great work across the board!

That Lex certainly sees some use, but one would never know upon completion. From here, she looks factory fresh :).

Have you tried out ZAIO on wood yet vs. Plexus?

Ryan, You are welcome. Can't wait to see how yours comes out.

Sean, Thanks for your kind words. Actually last w/e I tried some ZAIO on the wood in the wifes BMW. Came out very glossy and slick.

Thanks Nimble! As you might of read in this thread I got to track at IS350 at Road Atlanta. Was really nothing to complain about for sure. I'd love to take a new 335 for a spin there as well.
