NattyBumppo
Strange name, ain't it?
Has anyone tried this stuff? I just used it for the first time on the black plastic bed rail covers on my F150 and also on the black, hard rubber window molding on the wife's Taurus and my first impression is a good one :up .
The molding on the wife's car was badly weather worn with scattered brown patches and nothing I tried would make it look any better...until now. The molding looks almost new. Obviously I don't know how long this stuff lasts but at least it is already better than anything else I've tried. It has a fairly thick consistency which makes it very easy to work with and hopefully it won't run like others I've used. I applied it with a foam applicator, waited a few minutes and went back over with a dry MF towel. It does have a bit of a gloss to it but not too offensive.
It is supposed to rain over night here so I'll see in the morning if the side of my truck is covered in streaks. If so, back to the drawing board. If not, then I can toss the other stuff I have in the trash.
