Black Ice Trio?

Beemerboy

Just One More Coat
Anyone hear or use this line? this seems like a private label product....paint cleaner, sealant and wax..all liquid based product.

I have been talking to the guy that has it in a BMW forum..

Just wondering if anyone has used it?

Funny, I did a search and first google is your Beemer site and the thread you're in! :)

So there is no web site for this stuff?

Yes there is a link in that thread for it...I just didn't want to post it here in respect to the sponsors was all

I have not used it but have heard of it...nice find, I would be curious to if anyone else has tried this...

It consists of Black Ice Reflection:

Black Ice Reflection is a gloss enhancing pre-wax product to enhance the shine of the paint. Reflection can be topped with any sealant or wax product as it does not contain any carnauba content. Topping reflection with Thunder and Lightening is an unbeatable combo in terms of looks and durability.

(It sounds like a glaze to me)

Black Ice Thunder:

Black Ice Thunder is a pure sealant that delivers remarkable shine and durability. The nano particles cross link to provide months and months of protection. Thunder is layerable for increased longevity and superior reflectivity. Thunder is anti-static which aids in repelling and eliminating the attraction of dust.

Black Ice Lightning:

Black Ice Lightning is a liquid carnauba wax that delivers a great wet look. Application and removal is painless and Lightning will not stain the trim. This high grade Carnauba wax leaves a very slick finish with lots of depth. Lightning can be applied in the sun or shade.

The reflection is a chemical based polish / paint cleaner is all it is....PB PP would do that...I asked if any of the products had fillers and no was the answer some how I don't buy that all but then I don't know for sure.

The overcast pictures at dawn on a black car aren't very convincing. lol That seems to be the only examples of what it looks like that I can find on that thread that goes over the VW forum. I'll be the last one to knock a private label product, but that looks a little too low budget for my taste. I know it probably doesn't matter, and I've said before that it doesn't matter what the label looks like since it is the product in the bottle that counts, but with all the choices out there today, you really have to work a little harder to attract business than that. To not spend any time or money on label creation says to me that the owner isn't very serious about promoting the product. It is just perception, but perception is reality to the customer.

Ahh...ok...makes sense, I thought it was a glaze, but that would be tough without the fillers.

You going to try it???

About the labeling I had the same thoughts about PB when I got my first order and even posted that here...however after using his line for the last several years...you could put that in a plastic baggie and I would still use it...I do agree that packaging is important...in the software industry its one of the key factors
