Black Friday Shopping? (non detailing related)

Anyone looking forward to buying anything not detailing related?

I'm watching for good deals on headphones and computer parts (for my new computer build).

Not really, my plan is to avoid leaving the house entirely. If I do any shopping - it will be from my sofa. Good luck on your headphones and computer parts!

Oh yea I do everything online. No waiting in lines for me.

As bad as Black Friday can be, after working in retail (many years ago) December 26 is waaaay worse. Everyone is returning their unwanted gifts and pissed off you don't have what they want/ getting stuck with merchandise credit. It's awful being the guy behind the counter dealing with it for 8hrs!

Who needs black friday when we have ebay and search tempest :)

So far my scores since September.

Xperia Z2 Saved 200$
Xperia Z2 Tablet Saved 100$
Bosch Impact & Drill Saved 150$
Clothes - saved 300$ via ebay
Blizzaks - saved 350$ via craigslist
17 rims winters - saved 350$ via craigslist

So people who are looking for bargains
slickdeals.net
ebay.com
search tempest - absolute must!

I try to buy everything online, mainly because we work non stop during the holidays but mostly because I hate crowds plus you can look at prices from several different retailers at one time to find the best deal. But mainly I hate crowds!!! I have to get one gift in person (basketball hoop) because shipping will be crazy, but hopefully that is my only store purchase. These people you see camping out at stores all night to get in line are crazy!!

I get to work!! I will be the one that the crazy people who still shop get to deal with. Yep I'm the guy that gets no turkey!

That said I did buy a new TV for the bedroom this year. Got to buy it for BF price early.

What shopping I do will be mostly online. At this point, I usually want specialty stuff so rarely discounted deeply in stores to make a trip.

I look at Newegg and tigerdirect daily.

Am like a kid in a candy store. I want, I want, I want.....

Why fight the lines elsewhere when you get online for the same or less usually.

Same. Although there is a TigerDirect retail store about 30 minutes from me which is nice if I ever want to pick something up.

Does Don Lindich, by chance, also have a recommendation for computer headphones (with built in microphone)?

Check out OCN's Most Recommended Audio Products. On post 2 they have their Headset recommendations: OCN's Most Recommended Audio Products

They usually bash headsets with a built in mic and recommend going with a separate mic and headphone. But I was reading somewhere of a wireless PS4 headset (with a mic) that's getting great reviews. Someone found out it uses the same speaker drivers as a ~$400 pair of Sony headphones and they only cost $100. I can try and find the link if you're interested.

That Sony headset sounds intriguing. I am looking for a quality set to listen to music and play online games with while not breaking the bank.

Every time I get a nice pair, I tend to accidentally break it. My last pair was a $250 Turtle Beach Ear Force XP Seven. Stepped on the thing after 2 weeks and it cracked in half. Was a sad day.

Funny how a cheap crappy $30 pair lasts for years though.

Looking for the best deal on either a Roush or VMP SC. I'll use the X-Mas break to put it on...if I can wait that long.
