I just bought this truck and it needed help. I've started and haven't finished but this gives you an idea of what I'm up against. Please ignore all the other dirt in the pictures. I've just started!

I rememeber detailing a lot of those when I first started full time in the early to mid 90s. The paint always was oxidized too.

Looks like you are off to an excellent start on it. How is the interior?

Single stage paint is so nice. Cleans up great as well.

Congrats on making it look like near new condition. :)

Believe it or not, its two stage. There wasn't a drop of black paint on my pads.

Looks really nice! I thought that Bronc was a late 80's until I saw the side mirrors in the shots! Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn! Nice work! Does it have the 302 or 351?

Thanks! It has a 302. I just sold two other broncos, both with 351's. Honestly, this 5 liter runs fine and I don't miss the extra cubes.

I am sure you don't miss the few MPG less you got either! LOL

Did you ever apply a product to the fiberglass top? mine needs sprucing up.

you mean the emblems? I worked around them. I use scratchX to work around the emblems. Thanks!

I used to detail one of those in the mid 90s for a few years. He'd call me every 10-12 months, after it started fading again. Ugh. Could never convince him to have it rewaxed before it began to re-oxidize. :nixweiss

I was actually happy when he moved. ;)
