+1! I'd love that lift.

Not to knock it, but this picture shows something that resembles a wetsanding mark on above the side signal light.

Sharp eyes!.... Yes, it was and I caught it for correction after I took the pics. Probably had 10 of these small marks hanging around after I thought it was done.

Isn't that wierd? Jet black bmw's especially the e90's are supposed to be a breeze. They're one of the softer clears on the BMW's I've dealt with. I wonder how would HTEC or M105 would've held up to it. On the other hand, dealer only wants you to use 3m...

FWIW, Brian and I made between 3-7 passes with M105 and only got about 90 percent of the paint correct... It just did not want to budge.

Wow! 3-7 passes is a lot. I'm assuming you were taking paint readings to see the removal of CC. I stop compounding step with 2, maybe 3 passes MAX. Scared to death of having to one day pay for a repaint, if not at the detail, a few months later when the paint begins oxidizing due to the removal of the top layer UV Protection.

I'll definately buy into a PTG one day though, seems almost like a must when doing "full" corrections.
