Black and Decker Electric Pressure Washer - Thoughts?

Sean, I have one that is designed exactly like that, but is made by HUSKY. I got it for Christmas, but it came from Home Depot (I cannot find a link, sorry). It has 1400 PSI and 20 ft of hose.

What I like is the compact design and reduced usage of water. The cord is some what of a hassle, but when you are detailing out of the back of a civic you have to make some sacrifices!! The design is nice for storage, but it does tend to be a little top heavy at times. If you pull on the hose too much, you will tip the unit.

If I had to do it all over again and *I* was buying the machine, I would have probably purchased one of the "snub-nosed" pressure washers. They actually have wheels on the bottom and look like little beetles. Does that make sense at all? Costco had a karcher that was 1400 psi, 20 ft hose, 50ft extension cord, several tips, etc for about the same price as mine, @$88.

I find that I pull out the PW when I have to, it is not something I use every detail. I have been on details where I could NOT have finished without it...........

pointless

not enough power

also have to consdier the flow rate too. anything under 2GPM would be kinda too little flow. Sure it says 1000psi, but is that when the nozzle stream is the size of a pin head...

Depends on the application. For cleaning decks, etc - I agree. For washing cars and other misc. items it's more than sufficient.

I'm looking to do a very small deck and also have it with me on details for wheels/lower panels/wheel wells.

I will go back and look to check on the price today and note it back here. Thanks for the advice.
