One last car I got in before I moved back to Colorado. The car had some pretty bad swirls as you'll see. I also did a Black Carrera GT for the same customer and I'll post some pics of that soon. Anyway, on with the show

Megs #80 made quick work of the swirls:

Thanks! #80 is for sure my go to polish. It just does a great job of removing defects AND leaving a ready to wax finish.
 
Only if you work it too long. I honestly can say that #80 is my go to 90% of the time. Rarely will I go to something more aggressive like #83. Although, it is true that most of the cars I work on are in fair to good shape to begin with.

Megs #80 via PC and 8006 pad

Megs NXT via PC and 9006 pad X 2

Pretty simple!

The car was in good shape to begin with. No bonded contaminents or RIDS, just a lot of swirls from his weekly "detailer" who doesn't seem to think twice about "washing" the car by spraying it with just water and then using the same towel to dry the paint, wheels, and even tires! And this is done after the car has been driven and has visible dirt on it.
 
The paint was really soft. I am always surprised at how well #80 does. Unless the paint is really hard it does a great job for me. However, I worked on an 04 VW Passat yesterday and #80 might as well have been water. Didn't even touch the swirls.

A pc and megs #80 can do that? Wow.. Where can I get some ?:D I need to do my mothers XC90.
 
Well, it did on the car posted in here. But like I said, it didn't do jack on the VW I worked on yesterday. That's why it's such a good idea to do test spots. Regardless of how many imperfections it takes out, it does always leave a really great shine!
 
You'll want someone else to answer that. I only use Meg's. Call me a Meg's fanboy all you want, but it gives me the results I want. Basically, I'm biased and wouldn't be able to give you a fair answer as I've never used PB SSR 2.5 or 3
