Black 1934 Ford coupe

I had a blast detailing this one!! The owner had it painted a couple of months ago (black with blue metallic) unfortunately the painter detailed it. He can paint but he sure can't detail, there were buffer trails everywhere and also small circular rotary marks that were too deep to take out :grrr . The car is a fiberglass replica made here in Canada :ca . It has a chevy 350 with 400 HP :getdown , very fun to drive.

The process

QEW (didn't need to clay)

OHC LC orange pad via PC @ 6 2-3 times where needed

OC LC orange pad via PC @ 6 most of car

OP LC white pad via PC @ 6 twice

1Z MP LC grey pad via PC @ 5

PB EX LC black pad via PC @ 2

I tried to top EX with a couple of different waxes but it muted the clarity some what, so I left EX as the final topper. I think 1Z MP helped some.

Back when I had my Chevelle and my brother had his Challenger, when my Dad would give friends directions to our house, he'd tell them it was the one with all the burnouts in front of it. ;)

The only patches in front of our house are from the neighbours mini van :o and of course now the 34 Ford.

Looks great and I love all the curves - makes polishing interesting.

Thanks, with out a doubt the most interesting one yet, and of course it's black. I would say 90% of the details I do are black. It seems to be black car owners referring black car owners.
