Black 03 Cobra minor clearcoat scratches

have a black cobra. It has fine scratches in various places. First I need to know the best stuff to use by hand. Ive heard from many people that the paint is extremely thin on these cars. I also want to know what is the best cleaner,polish, and wax for black. Im sure you guys are tired of these kind of ?'s but I want a clear cut answer one time and I will stick to it. By the way I have plenty of time to spend working on this car so time is not an object. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Meguiars scratchX works good at removing scratches by hand. Got monor scratches out on my car (black) and my sister-in-law's black Escalade. You should be able to search around this website for the cleaners, polish, wax etc to see what kind of results fit your preference.
 
I know there has been a thread about mothers and meguiars 3 step phases, I just can't find them now. Click on "learn" at the top and there are some good articles on basic polishing, waxing etc. You might search and see what you can find too. There is so much information on this site.
