Did you get the pet one it come's with a crevice attachment

'i use it all the time on the interior.... its a great machine! Bissel makes a cleaner that i use for the carpets and you can buy it in lowes'

I got the Little Green that comes with the ProHeat and Turbobrush/extractor, not sure if its for pets. It also came with a standard brush/extractor.

I have cleaned carpets using Kids n Pets with a nylon scrub brush, and a big hand held bissell with the hose attachment for extraction. The result were fabulous!

However I have fear to use any chemicals or anything on seats. Anyone?

should I dilute the Kids n Pets in the machine with heat off, and use the squirt/brush(not turbo) then extract. I don't want to saturate the seats or loosen or stretch material or cause any damage at all.

Thanks

Checkout Jondon.com for some high quality carpet chemicals. I use a lot of the Prochem brand and have been completely happy with everything.

As I learned how to use the PC, and soon enough the rotary. I know how well I could clean up a cars paint.

I also have tackled vinyl, and some leather, and have nice methods for cleaning.

I have used Kids n Pets for carpet and mats only with great results.

I am primarily looking for something to use with the Bissell Little Green for seats, that is safe on all materials.

1. Spray your favorite carpet cleaner on the carpets. I use Folex.

2. Take a terry cloth, agitate stains/carpet.

3. Fill Bissell LGCM with hot water.

4. Extract

evenflow, you mean after spraying cleaner, you spray again with hot water from LGCM then extract?

Or do you also spray cleaner from LGCM?

Great job on the mats.

Would you use folex on seats, Isn't folex similar to Kids n Pets?

i also have the same machine

but i just use the standard bissel solution that comes with it. it never occurred to me to just use hot water along with a 'better' carpet cleaner. i will definitely try that sometime.

by the way this machine rocks, it heats up the water very quickly and does a pretty good job cleaning up

I am really wanting to try this machine out, My brothers 97 Altima has a very very dirty tan interior. This would make for a good before and after, maybe a write up.

I may go about the carpets the same way I have been.

But I am looking for a safe and effective chemical to use on seats?

Do you think Kids n Pets diluted into the machine would work?

Do you guys dilute folex for general cleaning?

I've diluted K&P into the LGM, IIRC, 50/50. I use Folex at full strength, but I use it more for spot treating.

If you can, try one of the PC brush attachments from AG, I've found with products like CG Lightning fast Carpet Cleaner and Adams Carpet cleaner, it makes short work of stains.

I use Adams and CG for cloth seats, but be sure to test in an inconspicuous area.

Mine came today, I will test it out, I have some folex too and some nasty floor mats that need attention, will post some pics tonite.

I agree with evenflow, don't put anything in the LGCM except hot water. I apply any chemical (Folex or Woolite) to the upholstery itself.
