All I can suggest that would help your car while you are at work is to spend a couple hundred dollars on a quality car cover. This will protect it not only from bird crap but also other elements in the air....May sound expensive but can guarantee it's not expensive as repainting a hood, roof, etc..

yeah...i have a cheap car cover for when i park under trees or when i park where the wind blows bad and there is a lot of dust...but on normal days i never saw a need for using the car cover. do you guys actually put a car cover on your car while it's at work?



well the spot that has the bird stain the worst is actually going to get repainted because someone keyed my car last night! (and no, the exclamation is not really out of joy). anyway, here is a picture of the bird stain as well as the keyed car:
