Billet Grill?

I've got a billet grill on my truck that's been a little neglected. I'm not familiar with polishes, nor the technique that I should use. I've got a PC, are there any pad/product combos that would work well? Should I get an attachment for the electric drill? (and work on end, 3 bars at a time)

I don't think I'd use a machine on a grille. Too tricky IMO. Hand work is probably the best and safest idea. Mothers and Eagle One make billet polishes that will do the trick. I've seen the Mothers billet polish at many auto parts stores.

If it's neglected, you'll likely need to 2 step polish it out.

Start with regular Mag & Aluminum Polish, then use the Billet Polish.

You can try a 4" cotton buffing wheel in a drill (Home Depot has them for ~$4 each) with the regular aluminum polish. Keep the wheel moving, and don't use pressure.

Then, finish up with the Billet Polish. I believe Eagle One has discontinued their billet polish, but you may be able to find an old bottle or two laying around.

Try cleaning the grille with one of the OXO brushes. If there is any crud built up on the top/bottom of the "fins", hit them with a soft tooth brush and some car wash soap.

EAGLE ONE MAKES A GOOD ALUMINUM POLISH.IT IS WADDING THAT YOU RUB ON YOUR GRILLE LET IT DRY AND RUB IT OFF WITH A CLEAN TOWEL.IF YOUR GRILLE IS BAD MAYBE YOU MIGHT HAVE TO DO IT 2X I THINK THE CAN IS 4.99
