I started out washing it with Dawn, then Z-18, Z-1, Z-5. I just took my first coat of Z-5 off, looks great so far but i've got a couple questions:

1. How long between Z-1 and Z-5?
2. How long between Z-5 and Z-6, and then how long for another coat of Z-5?
3. My hood seemed to streak slightly when removing the Z-5, think maybe I used to much or it didnt dry enough. Should I just go over it again or what?

I'm using a foam applicator and 100% cotton towels to remove, is this ok? Sorry about all the questions, just want to make sure i'm doing this correctly. I'll post some pics when I figure out how:p

thanks

After you apply Z1 you do not remove it but put the Z5 on top of it.

Wait at least 24 hours before another layer of Z5.

Make sure you apply Z6 just prior to the next layer of Z5.

Now if you have ZFX skip Z1 and apply up to 3 coats of Z5 every 24 hours.

Welcome!!!

I concur...... also with ZFX you can put on your 3 coats of Z5, and if that takes care of your minor imperfections (which ideally you should take care of them all with pre zaino prep), you can wait about 6-8 hours and do some ZFX'ed Z2 coats..... 2 max is what I've found to work

also with ZFX I know sal says no Z1, but when I first put coats on, I applied Z1 by PC, and removed it before starting my Z5 coats...... seemed to work well for me and I personally think helped the shine and gloss of it overall.....

I doubt that Z1 is necessary if you are using ZFZ. It's purpose is to give Z2 or Z5 a surface to adhere to. I don't think it has any polishing qualities... but maybe the PC helped to shine it up a bit.

RE Count

Hey, this took place in Florida..... Can you say Re-Count......some of those people I have never heard of or saw a posting by them...are they even active members????? Inquiring minds want to know.

Wow,Chad replied to 2 threads in the past 2 weeks and won. Intresting indeed /:)

I was under the assumption it took 10 replies to thread to equal 1 ticket :-?

PAC will be able to save on shipping also, as Chad lives in Tampa :money:

Oh well, congrats to all the winners anyhow :-B

This is true! there has only been 8 post by the winner since the contest started? i'm just saying........:-?

No Dangling Chads here!

Our congratulations again to the winners.

Since there seems to be a little "confusion" about how the winners were chosen, let me re-address the contest guidelines.
First, the contest was a raffle drawing. A random drawing of all the tickets of all the entrants with enough posts, threads, or purchases at PAC (every $20 in purchases was worth 1 ticket) to earn tickets was done.
To re-state it, it is a raffle drawing, and one ticket is all it takes to win.
While a player with more tickets does have higher odds of winning, it does not insure a winning ticket.
I kept a running total of all of your threads, posts, and such.
Remember, in posts, 5 posts got you a ticket, a thread got you a ticket and so on.
Your ticket totals were tabulated and the tickets were "put into a hat".
A random, blindfolded drawing was done. And yes, the tickets were shook up vigorously to insure a sufficient mixing of the tickets.

When the drawing was done, Broker99's ticket was the first one drawn.
The next four tickets were drawn and your runner-ups were the ones listed.
Short and sweet, the raffle was done just as we had promised it would be done.
Please congratulate our winners, and watch for the next Big Kahuna.
