Big Blue Drying Towel?

I just received my Big Blue Drying Towel and I have a couple of questions.

a) the only packaging on it says Pinnacle and no mention of Big Blue Drying Towel. Did I get the right product or a substitute?

b) no instructions; should I wash first before using it?

Thanks in advance, Bill

Bill I wash all my MFs before using...It ensure myself that any loose lint is washed away and any chemicals from manufacturing are also washed away.

The Big Blue has a waffle weave from the reviews I read by FLoni.

I am trying to decide if I should go with a Water Bandit or one of these Big Blues pelase let us know how it turns out for you.

69-912,

I have both... the Water Bandit does not compare. The BBT is a killer product. I dry my whole car with a single towel, no wringing.

Sweet! I'm going to have to pick one up. I'm tired of these darn water trails this Absorber is leaving.

I was using the Water Bandit until I got Big Blue. They are both good products and will do a great job, but Big Blue is faster and easier to use. I haven't even looked at my Bandit since getting Big Blue.... I follow use with either a MF or a Charisma hand towel.

I'm a newbie here, but I just used a Big Blue towel yesterday. I'm always skeptical over such products and claims. I have been using Canon/Fieldcrest Charisma Select towels for the past year or so. Still a great cotton towel, but I can not see going back to them for drying again. BB's really do seem to work as claimed and they appear to leave no scratches behind. No double wiping and any traces of water that is left behind is so fine it evaporates almost instantly. Works for me!

Hate to be an echo, but I'm another Big Blue convert; I haven't had a desire to pull out the Water Bandit since the BB arrived. I purchased another with the last CMA discount (got a two-pack this time, split the order with my gf's bro-in-law). :up

2 for 40.00? Jeepers.... Sears has these really really really good microfibers, 3 for 10.00, they are only 1 foot by 1 foot but they are real thick, have no lint and they can pick up paintball goo and still wipe my lense's crystal clean without any hazing.... really hard, before I was using clean cloth and alot of lense cleaner to get those results.

I might buy some mf's from sears to see how well they work while detailing.

Does everyone get their Big Blue thingy from CMA, or are there other options? Didn't know if I could find it locally or if ordering was the only way. I've been looking for something new to try to replace my chamois.

Just got 2 BBT from CMA, didn't wash them,...will...also according to a thread..Neat Items is one if not the best MF......we need a price war here...

Check the weave/pattern of the other towels. The 'waffle' pattern of the BB's is what gives them the unique absorbency quality. Also, this type of weave seems to leave no microfiber lint behind (unlike others).

What a tread. I want to sign up. :bounce

Lets get that group buy. I'm tired of wringing out my chamios.
