big big big detail project this week

okay, so in the coming week i'm going to detail my car, my dad's weekend driver, his daily driver, and my mom's car. dad's daily and mom's cars nary see a wash much less a wax. dad's weekend hasnt seen wax since the summer (but it is garaged). so here is my plan and i wanted to get input



dad's daily -

dawn, clay, smr, p21s gepc, dawn, quality car shampoo, AIO, SGx5, blitzx2



dad's weekend -

dawn, clay, p21s gepc, dawn, quality car shampoo, AIO, SGx2, blitzx2



mom's

dawn, clay, smr, p21s gepc, dawn, quality car shampoo, AIO, SGx5, blitzx2



mine

dawn, maybe clay, p21s gepc, dawn, p21s car shampoo, AIO, SGx5, p21s carnaubax3



here is the other question, when applying smr and the p21 gepc by PC, i just work it til i cant really see it and then wipe/buff with a clean terry/mf right? and AIO can be pc-ed, but SG is best by hand right?



last question, any tips on applying paste waxes with pc? thanks
 
Will you have help?? Thats alot for a weekend...especially if you are doing the interiors....

I do by hand AIO.....or any Wax. I don't know many who use Pc for that stuff...Polish and Cleaning stuff is done by Rotary or PC.

I would need 24 MF's or more for all that work......

how long are you going to let the SG cure on each car? 5x in a weekend translate to about half a day each assuming you don't sleep
 
IMO using the P21s GEP is totally useless if you are going to use a sealant. The product is mostly oils and is really intended for use under a caranuba. The Dawn wash will remove just about all the GEP, and the cleaners in the AIO will remove the rest.
 
this will be a weeklong project... so i can take my time. thanks for all the tips. i still need to go pick up some materials/tools. i'm itching to use my PC... the smr will def be PCed, maybe the AIO too, who knows. maybe i'll even PC the SG if i like it taht much. any tips for applying klasse twins with the PC? i figure using the PC will give me the thinnest layer of product...
