BIG and yellow

a Beast , done in 9 hours 1/2 in full sun ~106F and it will be the last one i schedule in no shade area )

i kill 1/2 Liter of red bull and 2 gallons of water.

My best friends was a 10ft ladder, sun glasses, hat, and 50spf sun lotion.



What was done to the car :

- wash , claybar treatment

- 1 step correction , 2 coats of wax

- shampoo floor mats ,

- leather treatment ,

- vacuum & wipe down interior + protectant ,

- wheels & tires,

- windows in-out.



i got a good pair of before /after pictures , enjoy!

initial condition : faded trims , the paint with light oxidation and full of swirls.

When I first learned how to wash a car 40-some years ago I was taught to work out of direct sun... always! I don't even like to work outside in the shade. Frankly, I don't know how some of you guys can work in the sun. Guess my garage has spoiled me. What products did you get for your usual stellar results?

Wow! You're right... big and VERY yellow! What did you use on the bumpers? They looked faded but came out great.

Looks like 2 coats of 303 maybe on the bumpers? I would imagine you had to work a very small area at a time in those temps in direct sun.

interior leather got brushed with conditioner/cleaner paste.

dashboard and plastics interior as doors/dashboard got 303 protectant,

bumpers and all exterior trims included tires got m40 .



it was a straight fwd project ,ignored the heat , faster possible, easy to work materials, short brakes, eyes open to don`t miss anything ...and before i start i plan it in my mind few times as steps , so i don`t waist time running with no reason around the car.

As soon as I read the thread title, I knew what kind of vehicle it was gonna be. The last H2 I did (over a year ago) was done in full sun outdoors, too. Just when you are done with the paint, you then have to deal with the trim, chrome (which doesn't hold up well), all the glass, etc. These cars are garbage lol.



Awesome work, it looks great for just a 1-step.
