Nice work man! How did you use a rotary for that whole thing??? Major buffer skillz, your scared of wool pads, I'm scared of rotary in areas that small lol.

thanks angelo. im all about the prep work!

Nice writeup and exceptional job as always. Im not a huge Harley man but that bike looks sick :)
thanks alot. i like the harleys alot. :D my first acct was at a harley dealership. 3 months later one of the owners wanted to give me less $ for each detail. the mgr i was dealing with was pocketing the $ instead of including it on the RO. so.....she was upset but i wasnt going to allow that so i walked away from the acct. i think i was getting 65-100 a bike. my thursdays were taken care of though. the guy had a whole week to line me up with at least 3 bikes. how much less could i have worked for? i told her you go up not down! that guy was taking half my loaf of bread! oh well. :rofl

thanks alot dan. all metal was hand polished.

thanks jsmoth! why not man? i <3 the rotary lol. i took the handle off & just held the head nice & firm. i use my fingers & hand as a guide. if i dont put my hand on the seat i might do something bad with the rotary so thats how i play it safe! same goes with my fingers pressed up against the metal when i was polishing the gas tank.
wool pads remind me of my body shop days when every wetsand & compound job was a struggle. i know the new wool material is way advanced but i just am comfortable with my flat foam pads. thats all i use.
