Do you think we might be a little on the defensive side, it isn't as if he was claiming to be a proffesional and offer to be consultant for a fee. what he did was supplie information to many Newbs who belong to that site and gave them good reputable information.How many people drop hundreds of dollars in Gold Coins to the salvation army to help over the holidays and never want to be identified.in noway are my comments meant to flame or disrespect but had it been someone you liked or a sponsor from this site i would bet it would have never been posted in a thread, unfortunate for miami sunset he agitated a few people.

If he would have asked permission before he cut and pasted text from articles that I spent a lot of time writing then I wouldn't have been upset. The way he wrote it does not imply that he plagerized text from posts or other guides. His arrogance in thinking that it was just public information free for the taking is what really offended me. That guy needs to grow up and start acting like an adult.

Hey the way I look at it is, I'm all for helping people and taking out the guess work in detailing, that is why i created my webpage.

I created my website because when I started getting into detailing I found limited info on what products do what and how they work.

My website is free and I try not to endorse any products (I believe that the majority of products do what they state, it's figuring out what works best for you)...it's there to show what can be achieved with proper techniques and products.

Now with that being said I didn't take the time to take pictures, create webpages, write the articles to have someone post it as their own work.

If he wants to link to my website I have no problem with that...I just can't tolerate people who steal.
 
Hey, don't let this guy continue to influence people here.
I let him get under my skin sometime back and someone finally pointed out to me how ridculous I was to let that happen.

He can no longer post here and that's great as far as I'm concerned.

What he did on that site was definitely wrong, but I think that unless he actually did steal some of your stuff, we should just forget him.

He's been gone for over two weeks now and he's still playing with us.

is it arrogance or plain ignorant. on the other hand you worked hard and you do great work a little courtesy would have gone a long way but remember we did get to see a little of his mantality. i'm not surprised buy what he did or why ..Personaly i think he might have a pyscological problem and in need to feel important and knowledgable.

I dunno that I'd go so far as to call it a psychological problem, but low self esteem is definitely a high possibility.

Obviously low self esteem isn't the case. After all, he freely admits that he is very knowledgable. Not smart enough to write his own guides, but he is obviously good at research. He just needs to learn how to use his powers for good. :lol:
 
Well i didnt get to see any of the pics, so im assuming i wasnt on there. But i think from now on I might put my logo on the pics.

I agree. He should have acknowledged the forum or members! Many hours of work have gone into detailing those vehicles and he decides to pass them off as his own.... :box:
