Better to get a full detail by a pro or do it yourself?

If you can find a reputable detailer locally then bring it to him, repair the damages then maintain through the knowledge provided here.
 
If you are simply in it to get the best financial deal, go pro. Detailing personal vehicles is about enjoyment, blowing off stress, and pride ina job well done. If you are primarily doing it to save money, I think you could be missing the point.
 
Haha, little far from me. Where I come from, there's about 1 ft of snow on the ground. There must be an autopian from there, though.

If your vehicle needs a lot of polishing, it might be best to have a pro correct the finish, then you learn how to maintain it properly.

i live in baton rouge and detail but my service area does not extend that far... if you want to drop your truck off and leave it, then come back and pick it up when it is done i will be happy to work on it
