I hope you have proof becuase if not you are gonna be flamed very quickly. If its not 100% true josh we would not want to mislead people to think things that are not true. There are alot of people on this forum looking for information that do not always know alot about detailing misleading them would be wrong :LOLOL :LOLOL
 
Contact P21S and all of their distributors...You can also open both waxes and see there is a different texture. P21S stands behind the fact that they are similar, but still different.

There was a huge thread where someone emailed them and they said they were the same. Yes they did say they were different but when asked how they compared it left them stumped.
 
I have contacted them numerous times about this matter. At one time, they were the same. In the last two years, they dont even feel the same to the touch. Trust me, I definately am all about saving a few dollars if they were. I have both, but they do not feel or look the same.

Wow, pretty interesting. Do you think this is a sociological effect of forums like this? That through discussion, people found that they were the same, and that P21S was forced to change them?



Interestingly enough, Meguiar's just came out with a line of motorcycle detailing products, and it turned out the unit pricing was much higher for some of the products than for the "car" products, and when asked on MOL, the answer was something like "the products, package sizes, and pricing were developed for this specific market".



I wonder if when P21S thought about selling stuff for motorcycles they said "no one will pay $30 for a can of wax that will last them forever on a motorcycle" and they realized that they couldn't charge different amounts for the same product, they decided to relabel it and sell it for half as much (yes, I realize Meg's did the opposite), and now because of forums like this were forced to make some change to the S100 just so they could say they are not the same.
 
In the past, S100 and P21S have been very very similar. Ive never been able to tell the difference between the 2 on paint. There was a different feel to both in the jar, tho.



AFAIK, they are no longer the same, if they were. P21s sent out a bunch of samples of the new version, didn't they?
