Best Window Cleaner?

Oh by the way in case any body is interested, I have seen Eagle One 20/20 in an aerosol can at Autozone and Stoners Invisible Glass in a trigger spray bottle at Pepboys. I haven't tried them in their new packaging. Now you can get 20/20 or IG in a aerosol or spray bottle.

Does anyone think its the rag that cleans the window??? You can spray anything on the window and if your using a clean window rag most times it will come clean. With that said All the window/glass cleaners out there i think are equal in cleaning and being streak free. :headbang

I've had real good luck with Coastal Aerosol glass cleaner. You get it at Autozone. I've used this and Stoner's and the Coastal actually performs better. No streaks regardless of what you use to apply it. Plus it costs half as much as Stoner's et al.

I tend to use Coastal too it never really seems to streak and it says it will work on tinted windows even though I'm afraid to try it.

Here's what I posted on MOL after trying out the new NXT Glass Cleaner:

It took a while, but I finally found some on the shelf at Murray's. Unlike our unfortunate northern neighbors, I got it at a decent price about 7 dollars.

As usual when trying a new product, there is a learning curve. With the Tech glass cleaner the first thing I found was that a little bit goes a long way. Unlike many other glass cleaners, a light mist is all it takes on even the dirtiest glass. Use too much and it makes more work, it takes longer to wipe the window dry and saturates the microfiber so it's harder to make the final 'dry buff' pass that leaves the window perfect.

Meg's seems to have found a way to make the evaporation rate of the cleaner optimal. It doesn't flash so fast that it doesn't have time to work and at the same time it doesn't linger so long you get spots and streaks.

The scent is pleasant, but use too much and it's overpowering. A light mist and a quick wipe followed by a flip of the towel to the dry side and a light buff leaves the glass perfect. Even if there are streaks, grabbing a fresh microfiber and giving the window a final buff (basically just using the two towel method), ensures the glass is as clean as it can possibly get.

A definate winner.
