Best way and place to store detailing supplies?

First off this forum is absolutely magnificent!! Im just gaining interest in detailing recently and I have been trying out different supplies and towels. Now im wondering where is the best place (garage/in home etc.) and best way (in a bag/in a box etc.) to store my supplies like towels, waxes, wheel cleaners and the like. Thanks in advance!!
 
For waxes, sealants, QDs, etc. find a place in your utility room. I keep my stuff in a dedicated cabinet just above the washing machine. Room temp is, in my opinion, the best way to store detail products. Towels, brushes, mits, etc. are placed in plastic storage containers (with lids) on my garage shelf.
 
This is how i store mine in the winter. In the summer all this gets moved back out into the garage.

I use one of these, kept in our basement:

I can see everything, each drawer pulls out and can be carried into the garage when it's time for use.

i keep the majority of all my supplies in snap-lid storage bins in my room, otherwise someone in my family will get into it, lol...

I keep my MF towels, and most of my cleaning products in a plastic storage in my walk-in closet.

Here's my setup. The cabinet is a Craftsman that I picked up from Sears with some very nice discounts thanks to a friend that is an employee there (regular retail is $289).



The MF cabinet was bought at Home Depot for around $40. I used it to store supplies back when I didn't have much, but the plastic shelves didn't hold much weight and quickly became warped so I don't recommend using a plastic shelf to hold much more than a few jars of wax and such.

I have a plastic milk crate jammed with the stuff I use regularly. That way I only have one box to carry outside with me. It normally lives in the broom closet by the back door.



Extra supplies live loose on the same shelf in a broom closet where the milk crate stays.



Microfibre towels are sorted by use and live in different plastic boxes (with lids) in the garage.
 
I store mine in bins and place those bins above my washer and dryer. And yes, my dining room table has been converted into a Ping Pong table. :D

I think I spent like $40 on all the bins at Target. :)
