Best wax/sealant for filling defects...

A Big plus one as it hides a lot of stuff but is a pain to apply and remove.

+1 for bilt hammer, just did my car with it last nite and topped it with fk1000 it came out very nice, very glossy and wet, alot of work but worth it. the trick with bilt hammer is to dampen the pad, i used pad conditioner, and do an area like half of one side of the hood for instance and wipe off with mf and buff with mf bonnet on your pc if you have one. it really does fill in minor swirls, not rids of course but minor spiderwebbing and swirls.

Here are some before and afters of a hacked up car finished with Banana Gloss. Some of these suggestions like Prima Amigo, DWG, Black Hole all fill. But don't think they fit the description of a wax/sealant...also I don't think they fill as well as this product.

Blake_jl, was Banana gloss the only thing used on the paint, or did you do some abrasive polishing first?

No abrasives. A good wash and Banana Gloss. That was it.

You can see from the before and after shot below of the bonnet that not all swirls were gone. But on car's in better condition and/or a lighter colour the results are even better.

I used 1z Glanz wax, that stuff in the metal can, its a liquid, and it did wonders at hiding swirls on a jet black bmw.

had a slick feeling to it, and looked decent.

That looks really impressive. How durable is that wax to washing? Will you get a good solid month before having to wax again?

I've been given mixed reports here in Australia where we can have poor conditions for a wax. Some people say they only get a couple of weeks. Others report more than 6 weeks.

It is definately not a durable product though. It's uses are for car yard work, private pre-sale details, show cars, or over the top of something more durable as a "pretty coat".

I do import and sell this stuff here in Australia. Thought I should add that so I'm not shilling anyone.
