Just got a 2004 tacoma the color is lunar mist (light silver) and am looking for the most wet looking wax/combos

thanks!

Try Vanilla Moose+UPP+Natty's. That's the color of my wife's car and this is the combo I use. I do want to try the VM+UPP+Carnuba Moose Wax. Also I want to substitute EX-P for the UPP.

I have heard good things about the EX-P on the lighter colored metallic cars. Congrats on your new truck and welcome to DC!!

If you need a light polish first I suggest using Poorboy's Polish with Carnuba then follow up with EX-P and Natty's or Natty's then EX-P.

For light metallics, I like to lean in the direction of sealants. I'd go with any of the following combos:

Zaino
Klasse AIO topped by SG
Poorboy's Polish with Carnauba topped by EX-P
PwC, EX-P topped by NAtty's Wax. That should give ou the wettest look without muting the metallic in the paint.

Top of the Line Pizaaz wax is the best I have used for silver and lighter colors
. I love the smell too. I comes in a huge container also.

I have the same color as you...I have tried AIO, AIO + EX-P and AIO + Pinnacle Signature. Next up is VM+EX-P+Signature.

Pinnacle Signature is pretty pricey, but it looks so good. SilverLexus saw it on my car and liked it enough to buy some. The top 5 pics on my cardomain page are AIO + Signature. The next 2 are AIO + EX-P, the one underneath is AIO + Signature and the bottom 2 are just AIO.

TW85 HHI has some great pics of AIO + SG + Natty's

Paste Glaz is on sale @ Pinnacle! 2 for 1! Sweet deal, but I got Pizazz and Natty's to play around with.

By the way, I do believe that Paste Glaz can darken silvers. It worked great on my wife's gold metallic Camry. I think this is maybe a feature of very, very yellow waxes. Megs #26 does the same thing.

Pizazz is a wax you can get at/from Top of the Line.

Pizazz is rumored to be "close" to Signature the same way Trade Secret is supposed to be Souveran. I've heard a lot of positive feedback on Pizazz, but haven't seen any pics.

Lee, why don't you buy it and try it on half your car and Signature on the other half? :lmfao

I agree.

I had a Silver RX-7 for 7 years. That car loved Zaino, gave the car an amazing "glow".
