Best wax for light colored cars???

Garry Dean

Garry Dean Quality!
Whats your choice and why??? I like P21S on pretty much any color, but I want to try something different. Your thoughts??? Im thinking about trying some Menzerna FMJ, what do you guys think about it???

If you are talking about a sealant instead of a wax, Z-2 would be a very appearance enhancing and durable choice, especially if maintained with Z-7 and either Z-6 or Z-8. Of course, I'm a Zaino Zealot.

Sealant-Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant looks great on Crystal White and very easy to use

Wax-I've only used Pinnacle Paste Glaz and Megs #16 and both are no longer available. I've read Nattys Blue/White look good on light colors.

Liquid Souveran look very good on light colors. The white car below has Liquid Souveran over Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant.

I've done fine on white with all sorts of stuff, including Souveran (paste). I guess I'd recommend the same Collinite waxes I usually recommend (namely, any of them ;) ).

Why not you try some OTC product like Mothers FX Synwax? It give a great look on light colored car. Or Finish Kare 1000P which do give a great look on light colored car.:xyxthumbs :xyxthumbs

id say Natty's white. makes light colored vehicles look wet and reflective. its easy to buff off and cheap also but you can't go wrong with any of the above mentioned. just remember surface prep counts more towards the end result and the lsp can only enhance your finish.JMO

Pinnacle Sig Series II, they now have an 8oz. size for the same price.

But truthfully, most waxes don't know what color they are being applied to.

All someone would have to do is use a marketing slogan like "formulated for light color vehicles" and they would see a ton of whatever wax/sealer they put the label on. There are some products out there that say that they are for darker colors, so I just avoid those. Experimenting for the look you like is the best way, albeit the most time consuming. Good luck - I'm sure whatever you pick will look great if the surface is prepped well. ;)
