Best WAX for Audi silver?

How long will Souveran last between applications and would you still recommend it even on a very bright silver (Chrysler 300C)?

I used to think that i only wanted sealents because they last longer... Now I realize that I want o go for "the look" and I cant stop detailing the car... I donot need 4 months worth if protection when I can't go 2 weeks without detailing... :D

I am, however, thinking of doing a WG sealent * 2 prior to the waxing...

Thus is my "projected" process: Menzerna IP, Menzerna FP, Menzerna FTG, Wolfgang Sealent *2, Pinnacle Souveren (or CMW)

what do you think?

As I'm always saying, the best look I've ever got on Audi silver is UPP over *many* passes with 1z Pro MP (that's many passes after all the marring is gone, just burnishing the surface a lot).

My wife would certainly agree with the Souveran idea. That was probably her favorite on this color. She's not wild about how #16 looks on it, I probably like that one better than she does. Perhaps because it last so long- I don't have to redo her car as often :D

BF darkened the finish so much that you'll either really like it or you certainly won't. At least after you park it beside another silver Audi.

While I like Menzerna stuff, I wasn't impressed with how this color looked after using FP on it (already marring free at this point). I redid it with more 1Z Pro MP and I liked that a *lot* better. Deeper and richer, probably from the stuff that the MP leaves behind. If I were gonna use Souveran (no sealant) I'd do some final passes with 1Z Wax Polish Soft and then top with Souveran. But I'd put a sealant on there.

Your proposed approach, with the Menzerna glaze, might give about the same look as my 1Z approach, hard to say. It's certainly not like it'll look *bad* or anything. Just make sure you get all the marring out (check with an incandescent/tungsten bulb in an otherwise dark garage).

Well, noe that I have a few coats of PS (2 old coats and 1 relatively fresh one) I was wondering if I could add a glaze on top before my next layer of Souveran. I was thing either CK RMG, or Menzerna FTG.

Would this be ok, or is it not recommended? Do I need to strip the wax off first, and then glaze?

Thanks.

That's a good question. I don't think it would work properly. Does RMG or FTG have any polishing/cleaning capabilities? If so, you would be sacrificing your prior layers of Souveran anyway by applying RMG or FTG.
