Just trying to find a good wax and sealant for my new F150. It sit outside most of the time in the hot Florida sun.

Thanks

As a Florida resident myself I would advise you to use Fk1000 for wax. Hd poxy if you need a sealant. Or even better top poxy with FK1000. That's what I do For my regulars and my own vehicle.

If you live near Tampa shoot me a pm. I live in Tarpon Springs.

How much time are you willing to dedicate to keeping the truck clean?

This is a very important question as your answer will dictate many of our recommendations - Product durability and appearance longevity can range quite a bit.

For "once-a-month-waxing", I really like Pinnacle Souveran - Awesome looks but does not last longer than the initial month.

For "waxing-once-or-twice-a-year", you should look at Zaino, Klasse SG, Nitro Seal, or any of the new coatings.

Optimum Opti-Seal holds up well and has decent depth for a sealant. HD Poxy has really good depth and excellent slickness. Just kind of depends on the effort you are going to put into your truck, like others have mentioned. If you are looking for a wax to apply once a year and then run your truck through the local swirl-fest tunnel wash, you should have got a silver truck. However, if you are willing to properly hand wash your truck regularly, use quality microfiber towels, wax regularly, etc, then I wouldn't worry to much about durability as I would looks. Try a few waxes and sealants, figure out which one looks best to you then use it as often as needed.
