Best Tire Dressing

actually I posted the wrong product, I have the EF Black SAPHIRE gel. I have tried almost everything else and for me this is the best, IMO it is much better than endurance, classier and easier to apply. I use the eagle one tire swipes to apply.

I like Vinylex for a semi-matte finish.:xyxthumbs My wife likes glossy tires on here car, so she gets Endurance Gloss Gel. :nixweiss

I have been pleased with the results I have been getting with the EF Black Sapphire tire gel it has stood up quite well in multiple rain storms.

Thanks everyone for the tips. I'm easy to please on this one, so the shine quality should not be an issue to me. I absolutely want to avoid these products ending up on my new wax job. Which one would stick the best? Maybe it's a function of the application process more than the product?

We're still in the early stages of testing our 100+ Tire & Wheel Care Products, but of the dressings we've tested so far, I can say this:

- prep is extremely important, the tire can never be "too clean" first

- Durability for the 40-ish products we've tested so far is right around 10 days or 500-600 miles. Garage queens will get much longer durability...

- Most look very similar when applied; there are little tricks for getting more/less shine as desired that generally apply to most of the products

- Sling is a big issue, even after buffing. Most of the products we've tested have slung like a mofo, even after letting them penetrate for 2-3 hours and giving them a final buff.

- Water plays a big role in breaking down the dressing's gloss/shine. Some dressings appear to "wash off" at the first sign of water, while others bead water...it's really interesting.

- Dust loves dressings. :D

No Touch Wet Look. $7 for 3 cans at Costco. They contain no harmful products. Plus, it lasts for a long time. For the longevity and price, this is my favorite.

Same here I love the stuff! But I end up paying about $5 a can here.

I've been using No Touch Wet 'N' Protect clear liquid; it leaves a nice even finish, creates very little (if any) sling and lasts pretty long, too. I think it definitely works better than No Touch Foam. Sometimes I spray it and let it go, this leaves a nice medium gloss/shine, other times, if I want light matte finish, I'll wipe it down with a dedicated MF towel. Nice product.

Yeah the no touch foam is crappy. I use that on my corporate clients because the unit is just going into storage waiting on the next executive. Dont have to worry about sling.
