Best Tire Dressing? (new Member)

That insane shine spray looks pretty good to me. I'll have to see if I can find it locally. I haven't seen it in any of the auto parts store around here yet, though.

I found the Megs "insane shine" today at a PepBoys - surely you have one of those around you, no?

I used PB BnB on my mustang and wifes car and the tires turned brown on both. Switched to WG tire gel and love it, no sling and just enough bling for me and last a few weeks.

When it was applied. After three weeks the gloss has tamed down slightly but the tire still looks freshly dressed.

Here it as now after three weeks.

Three weeks after the wheel has been washed too? Wow, what do you use on your wheels? Has the wheel and tire sat in the garage for three weeks?

I was thinking the *same* thing. Do you drag your feet to stop??

I just tried the Megs "insane shine" in an aerosol can. WOW it really is "insane" shine. For the past few years i've been using bulk tire dressing that just makes it look clean, but this extreme shine is a nice change of pace for me.

I didn't know this was "NXT tire dressing", lol

Last time I was in the pep boys detail section (several years ago) "NXT" didn't even exist. I think Meguiars gold class was their best wax.

The NXT tire shine is no gimmick. The stuff is crazy shiny. I haven't driven the car yet, so i'll let you guys know about sling and browning, if any.

LOL! No, I haven't tried that. On occasion I have hit the brake so hard I thought my foot might go through the floor though.

The tire in the second photo has about 250-300 miles on it in the past three weeks. I just ran out and shot a pic of it for this thread and I haven't wiped it down or even touched it for the photo. It has been spending it's winter in Cape Coral, FL though, which is pretty dry and mild this time of year, (low 80 degrees). I'm sure I'd not go three weeks in Wisconsin winter weather.

This dressing really works well with these Bridgestone tires, IMHO.

The wheels OTOH, do get regular detailing with Meg's Quik Wheel Detailer and a MF towel.

WOW. you are getting way better durability with Insane Shine then I did. It looked great until the first wash or rain and then it was gone. I agree it was shiny on first application but that could be toned with a wipe with a terry cloth.

Nope. :(

You guys that have PepBoys in your are are lucky. I can't even get Mothers Reflections line OTC.

Just for detailing stuff and paints... they carry the mainstream stuff...

but as far as EVERYTHING ELSE goes, 98% of what pep boys sells is (mostly chinese) monkey garbage

But it is fun to look at none-the-less

The only NXT Insane Shine I've seen is in aerosol form. It's $6.99 everywhere I do run across some.
