best sealant over aio

ive been using aio, then s100. i would like to try a selant. ive been thinking either wolfgang or sg. i like using autogeek to order stuff. also what pads should i get for my pc to apply

You're gonna get a list of practically all the popular sealants out there because everyone will have something different to say. :)

Wolfgang is a very easy-to-use sealant that I like very much. It would be my first choice. I've tried and tried to learned how to use SG.. i went through half a bottle and i still get streaking and hazing. I like how sg looks when i do it right but man i'm really getting tired of having to put in so much effort. 90% of the others here don't experience my trouble, though.

I'd like to keep the list of sealants growing: Z2Pro .. durable, very easy to apply and better looking than the old Z2.

Another vote for the Z2, if you disregard the hype and look at the actual product it is easy to use , nice reflection and lasts a long time. just my two cents

Yes, forget the hype about Zaino. Just try Z2 or the new Z2 Pro, if it doesn't satisfy you, you can always trade it for some other sealants.

It really depends on the condition of your paint or how much prep you are going to perform. If P21S has covered your surface imperfects to your satisfaction, a hybred sealant like UPP, BF, WG,etc will probably be more likely to satisfy your appearance needs. Sealants without "make-up properties" like Zaino and Klasse (untopped) require a more meticulous prep but reward with extreme durability. The new Z2-Pro will even match the wetness and depth of a carnuaba with better clarity and trueness to the paints basecolor coat hue.

blkZ28Conv, could not agree more with your statement that reflects getting the deep, wet look people are after. prep will be a key factor in your results . I thought it was maybe me being a little biased on the wetness and depth of Z2, figuring that the prep was adequate, until you threw out the carnuba comparison .well done, that is saying a lot

Aha, I think I've found your problem. Same old story, you must be using way too much. I've put many dozens of coats of SG on all kinds of vehicles, including many on our minivan and other big things. And after maby six years I still haven't used 1/4 of the bottle, and that includes the ounce or so that I spilled! In my experience it takes far less than an ounce to do our minivan. Don't mean to sound :nono or anything, just offering (unsolicited :o ) advice. Put it on so thin you can't see it; go by feel.

z281977- I don't really like the look of SG, but you sure can't beat it for long-lasting protection. I'd probably give it a try. You can always top it with your S100 if you don't like how it looks. Six layers of SG lasted over a year on the minivan, and it gets used hard. I sure do like UPP though, great look and very slick.

I can't imagine anything looking bad with AIO as the base. I'm not an SG fan but it goes awfully well with AIO. UPP & EX-P are great with AIO. If you use a carnauba rather than a sealant, I've used Signature over AIO with great results & SilverLexus' ES330 looks awesome with AIO + P21S.

AIO + Souveran is a very sweet combo too.

I don't think you can go wrong with AIO!

SG, AIO and SG were made for each other. If you use SG correctly and follow all the suggetions... ITS NOT HARD!
