Z5 Pro topped with Z8 rocks on bright red IMO. Z5 Pro/CS/Z8 looks good too.



I really liked how Collinite IW looked on my mom's red HHR also.

Ok, I have the car in my garage finally. I was wondering which process to use. There is some swirling on the paint from whoever at the dealership washed it. I was going to clay first. As far as polish, I have AIO, but I also have original Blackfire Gloss polish. Should I use that for the swirls or the AIO? Then, after which ever, do I still need to wait 24 hrs before the sealant? I was going to try the Blackfire. How long does the BF usually last? I can throw some either #16 or PS21 over the sealant. Thanks again for everybodies wisdom and patience with me here. It's been a while since I have put TLC into a car. My Wrangler gets AIO and SG just to keep the Custom Pinstripping (read scratches) from rusting and the mud beading off. :har:

Neither Blackfire's gloss enhancing polish, nor KAIO is particularly abrasive to correct much swirling. Of the two, BF's GEP is probably better, but it's a fairly mild product. That said, you can try it on an area and see if it helps with the swirls.



You can apply a sealant or a wax immediately after using either the GEP or KAIO, you do not have to wait 24 hours.



I personally still like Blackfire's sealant a lot. It looks great, is very slick, and for me it lasts quite a long time.



You can certainly toss #16 or P21S over it if you don't like the final look, or just feel like playing around. I would say Blackfire has beading that rivals carnauba wax though. But the only way you will know what you are happy with is to try it.

Either one gives a very wet look. The key though, is in the preparation.



Both were prepped with clay and Meguiar's #80 (Speed Glaze) followed by #7 (Show Car Glaze).

I so far have clayed and used 3M Machine Glaze followed by BF Polish and then topped with BF Sealant. I was going to apply a second coat of BF Sealant. Do I have to wait a full 24 hours for the first one to cure? Also, for the original BF users, is this protectant as good as Klassie SG as far as protectant? I'm not talking about shine. I know the SG is excellent as I use it on my wrangler and it beads mud when I'm out mud bogging as well as not let little branches scratch my paint. They just glide right on by. I want the best for protectant for this winter. I hear it's going to be bad which means ALOT of salt.
