I just had my fuel injectors flow tested and purchased new top hat adapters for them. They didn`t tell me they were shorter than the old ones. About 2 miles from my home, I had a major fuel leak that sprayed gasoline everywhere. I had AAA tow the car back to my garage and the smell was just unbearable. I used Meguiar`s Super Degreaser and sprayed everything down, other than the distributor and wires. This made a huge difference. Unfortunately, I found out the next day that I did some serious damage to the finish on some expensive anodized parts. Today I put some new spacers in the fuel rail and fixed the leak, but in the process, I spilled some more fuel. For obvious reasons, I`m not going to use MSD again. Is there a mild deodorizing cleaner that is safe to use and won`t leave a residue? The garage is under the house and I can still smell it.
