Best paste wax for under 70 bucks?

Megs #16 for me too.

But even though its not a paste wax, i would vote for BFWD anytime. Its my go to LSP these days.

Meguiars #16, Collinite 915 and/or IW845, Autoglym HD, Victoria Wax Chaos/Mayhem, these are all great waxes for under 70 dollars.

I think you can get: IW845, #16, and Victoria Wax Mayem, and VW Chaos all for less than $70 :P

Nonetheless the VW Chaos and Mayhem are SERIOUSLY good waxes, WAY too good for the price, I mean $20 each for 3oz is a killer offer. Mayhem is a nice deep wax with a very dark look on black cars, Chaos is a harder (both are still soft) wax with a reflective and deep look that I personally prefer in light colors.

If you want durability got for collonite but if you want a really nice look any wax Victoria Wax makes cannot be touched at those prices. Or you can just put the wax on the sealant for "the best of both worlds"

Here's a take your pick of waxes under $70.00.

These are the paste waxes I have used. Many others I have are well over $70 though. Not necessarily better imo.

For looks plus great durability FX 1000p, 915, and 476s are all very good.

For possibly better looks, but lesser durability than above P21s 100%, S100, Pinnacle Souveran (when on sale) Victoria, Mini Wolfgang Fuzion, FK-Pink Wax, Lusso Oro, Meguiars 2.0 Tech wax, Pete's 53, 50/50, and Meguiars #16.

Having used all the above products, plus many more with a much higher price, I would put 915 up again any of the above mentioned waxes for appearance and durability. This is just my opinion though.

In a test from another board the Collinite 915 was second only to Swissvax BoS, and after sitting in the sun for a while, the testers came to a conclusion that they couldn't tell the difference between the two.

Good luck.

I just tried Blackfire's Midnight Sun ($70) and am very impressed with both its depth and gloss. Not so happy with its seemingly magnetic properties for dust attraction, though. Probably can mitigate this somewhat with a couple OID QD applications.

Not sure if linking to a "non sponsored" site is allowed.. So just google Victoria wax.

David the owner is a good guy and shipping is pretty fast to the states. One thing about the Red wax, is to apply it very thin, and DON'T let it fully dry.

It's not a paste and it's not a wax, but if I'm going to put something on paint, its going to be Werkstat Acrylic Jett.

Right now AG has 3 oz WG Fuzion on BOGO. 6 oz for $49 is a great way to try a boutique wax. I will order before next Friday when BOGO's change. CG 53 and Dodo Purple Haze are very good on dark metallics IME. I hope Fuzion doesnt disappoint!

IMO most customers will be more impressed with a sealant.I would try BFWD, UPP, or UPGP. Note UPGP needs 2 hours to dry. All need cure time.

Free shipping too!!! :spot

Sounds like you guys have a great assortment of waxes and sealants...I am sure you use what you have the most confidence in and looks the best. I could tell you what I use but there may be no sense since no one uses it here. I told you I finish with the wheel and all might disagree with that here. You cant touch a panel I have just finished with the wheel by hand because you will mark it up again. I dont really do much if any work by hand.

I love both Natty's red and blue, but I haven't tried the CG 50/50 so I can't comment on that. I hear it's a great wax so I am looking forward to giving it a try. But for $20, the Natty's wax's are hard to beat.

Whats better red or the blue?

Most times if I finish up with wax I use Gaglianos Finish 10...This is used at the Concourse Shows around the continent. I will polish it slow to get any finger imperfections out.

Why not pick a up a couple of different ones!? You know you will only be bored after 6 months of same thing!

Heres my hit: go to a UK website and get a sample of RaceGlaze 55. It seems to have done almost 5 months duty now on my DD and its still sheeting and still looking great!

And with the rest get a Wolfgang Mini Fusion!

I almost never spend BIG dollars on expensive waxes and sealants because there are just too dam many. I have my favorites. I also use a waterless glaze from the early 1990s called Dry-Washn-guard. This is always in my bag of tricks it is versatile and I perform paint correction with it. It reduces friction as I am working with the clear coat. I always have many up to three that I carry. Two types of mild polishes always and two to three types of waxes. In case the paint gives me any difficlty such as hazing.

This is a very... ummm... strange statement. Why exactly do you think so?
