Well I got couple cars lined up to detail and was wondering what is the best paste wax under 70 bucks? I want the paint to be really slick.I heard some people say to use Poorboys Natty's Paste Wax RED?

thanks,

Blake

if it was me id go with pinnacle signature series 2 paste. leaves a nice wet glossy look . with about a month durability.. $49.00. its up there with higher end elite waxes for sure..

I love both Natty's red and blue, but I haven't tried the CG 50/50 so I can't comment on that. I hear it's a great wax so I am looking forward to giving it a try. But for $20, the Natty's wax's are hard to beat.

It certainly makes NO SENSE to spend more than that. Lasting protection is about FIRST, removing the impurities on the surface before sealing....this is indeed key for the wax to hold up. Save your money on thousand dollar wax....unless you have cash to burn.

If you can get a can, Meguiars #16 is probably one of the best.

I also really enjoy Nattys Blue. Great offering.

When you say you want the paint to be slick, do you mean as in the feel of it, or are you referring to certain look.

If youre talking about how the paint feels (ie: like nothing will stick to it) than a sealant would be your best choice. 4* Ultimate Paint Protection and WG Deep Gloss Paint Sealant are two excellent choices. I have yet to feel any other wax or sealant thats as slick as these two.

As for good waxes under 70, theres just way too many to list and as you can see everyone has given different options.

Have not used paste wax in some time, but if you can find one grand blitz wax, def try it out.

One Grand Blitz was the first carnauba wax i ever bought (still have it). The bad part about Blitz is it stains trim. Blitz is still one of the longest lasting carnauba waxes available, and the finish it leaves isn't bad either for $29.99 for a 16oz tin. Just be sure to double check to make sure that your trim is taped up very good.:xyxthumbs

Meguiars #16, Collinite 915 and/or IW845, Autoglym HD, Victoria Wax Chaos/Mayhem, these are all great waxes for under 70 dollars.
